Huge leaps were made in the development of AIDS and HIV medicine in the last decade, and it could not have happened without the commitment and dedication of scientist, doctors, politicians, parents, siblings, neighbors and of course, selfless volunteers who give their time and resources to this great cause. Habitat Charlotte, NC – Help Us

Thanks to all who came to support Habitat for Humanity, Charlotte, on Saturday, January 31st! It always surprises me how many volunteers give up their warm beds for a cold morning of brisk and often painful labor. Of course, I never heard anyone complain, and it’s incredibly motivating.

This Saturday had one of the biggest turn outs yet, with participants from several corporations and local banks (Bank of America, Wachovia, etc.) – that’s exactly the type of support that this organization needs the most in light of current economical developments. …
